Rheologics is engaged in the development and commercialization of innovative medical technologies that improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. Our goals are three-fold: to assist researchers in the optimization of their clinical testing programs, to enable providers to improve patient outcomes, and to assist payors in reducing the cost of care. We do this by introducing a model to enhance the way diseases are diagnosed and treated.
Improve Blood Flow
Our expertise is hemodynamics, the physics of blood flow, with a special emphasis on a biological parameter called Blood Viscosity -- the thickness of blood. We are pioneers in the physics of blood flow. Our technologies are focused on the blood, monitoring its resistance to flow, and guiding therapies to optimize blood flow. We believe that medical science has already developed treatments that can prevent and even cure numerous costly, devastating diseases that we face in the industrial world. What is needed is a better understanding of how to apply these treatments -- better diagnostic monitoring, targeting and control. Our mission is to leverage our diagnostic technologies to assist our partners in optimizing new therapies and enable providers to guide existing treatments. We are accomplishing our mission through research partnerships and the education of providers, payors and their patients.
